As a Platform Engineer at BrainStax, you’ll work on BrainGrounds, the backbone of our product ecosystem and the driving force behind our innovative solutions. From AI-powered applications to advanced automation tools, this platform is critical to everything we deliver. You’ll play a central role in building, maintaining, and optimizing BrainGrounds to ensure it continues to scale and enable cutting-edge solutions.
Your Responsibilities
- Platform Management: Design, manage, and optimize the BrainGrounds platform on Azure to support our growing product ecosystem.
- CI/CD Pipeline Ownership: Build and maintain seamless CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth code deployments across the platform.
- Data & Analytics: Use Databricks for data pipelines and analytics, ensuring efficient operation of AI solutions on the BrainGrounds platform.
- Infrastructure-as-Code: Develop and maintain Terraform configurations for scalable and efficient infrastructure.
- Platform Security: Implement robust firewalls, networking, and NSG security groups to secure the platform.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, data scientists, and other teams to enhance the platform’s functionality.
- Monitoring: Oversee platform health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Databricks monitoring tools.

What We’re Looking For?
Must-Haves
- A cum laude diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, showcasing outstanding academic performance.
- At least 3+ years of professional experience in platform engineering, with expertise in building and optimizing scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Experience with Azure and Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.
- Strong knowledge of Databricks for data and AI solutions.
- Expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, and NSG security groups.
- A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for innovation and team success.
Nice-To-Haves
- Understanding of advanced Terraform modules and best practices.
- Previous experience with Agile/DevOps workflows.
- Background in setting up or managing scalable distributed systems.
- Awareness of security compliance standards like SOC 2, ISO 27001, or GDPR in cloud environments.
- A knack for troubleshooting complex infrastructure and platform issues.
